John Alexander, Publisher of OnAir Magazine and Head of JLA Media

I am a professional photographer/videographer for over nine years. I provided videography and photography for national organizations such as the Rainbow/PUSH Coalition, The MAGIC Foundation, The Chicago Football Classic and many more. I am the head photographer for The Bigs Media, I also take Photos for NBA, MLB, NFL WNBA as well as other sports. I have provided video production and editing services for Pam Zeckman of Fox 32 news, a Producer with Chicago Access Network Television(CANTV) and Evanston Community Television (ECTV).

Produced TV shows Channel 36 that featured notable church pastors throughout Chicagoland area. Certified as a Computer Technician by Control Data Institute in 1985 and certified as an Executive Secretary by American Business Institute in 1983.

Served as Media and Computer consultant for Alderman William Burnett taught video production and editing to students at Betty Shabazz International Charter School and for fun professional base player for over 42 years and a professional sound engineer for over 30 years, I am currently studying to be an Adobe Certified Editor.

Served as Videographer for Academic Charter School and Lindbloom High School in Chicago. Served as Director of Audio Visual for Proud Professionals Educating Services. I am also Director and Co-Host of The Media Connection, a weekly news show on CAN-TV 19 in Chicago for the past 12 years. As a member of the Chicago Alliance of African American Photographers, I was the featured photographer in a special photography project for the City of Chicago highlighting the plight of homeless women.
